Oneida County, Utica Residents To Vote On Budget Props

Utica, NY (WIBX) - When Oneida County and Utica residents head to the polls next month, they'll be asked to decide on three ballot propositions.  Proposition 1 effects all Oneida County residents, while Propositions 2 and 3 will be voted on by Utica residents.

The 3 propositions are listed below.

• Proposition 1

Reducing the Oneida County Board of Legislators from 29 to 23 districts.

• Proposition 2

Should Utica Common Council members and their dependents be excluded from receiving healthcare benefits through the City of Utica?

• Proposition 3

Should City of Utica part-time and temporary employees, exclusive of Civil Service classification, and their dependents be excluded from receiving healthcare benefits through the City of Utica?

Election Day is November 6th.
