Over 600 Potholes Have Been Fixed In Utica
600 and counting.
Utica Mayor Robert Palmieri says that's how many potholes have been filled in the city since he started a campaign to address the problem two weeks ago.
Palmiei says while the city will continue to fix reported potholes, DPW resources must now be used for green waste pickup, which began this week.
Residents are still encouraged to call the Mayor's office at 792-0100 x 3 to report potholes.
Residents can also expect DPW crews to pick up green waste approximately every two weeks from now until December.
DPW will pick up green waste in bulk until May 15th; however green waste that is not containerized will not be picked up after May 15th.
