Palmieri Cites Cooperation In 2015-16 Utica Budget

Utica Mayor Robert Palmieri has signed the city's budget for the 2015-16 fiscal year.

Palmieri was joined by members of the Common Council, Comptroller William Morehouse and city department heads at City Hall today.

The mayor says a budget with no tax increase could not have happened without the cooperation of all those involved in the process.

Palmieri says even with a 0% tax increase, the council was able to appropriate additional funds for infrastructure improvements, road repairs and street light maintenance.
