MONTICELLO, N.Y. (AP) — A Catskills casino opening in March is looking to fill about 1,400 positions.

Resorts World Catskills in Monticello will be the fourth casino to open in upstate New York after voters approved the gambling expansion. The other casinos are in the Finger Lakes, Schenectady and the Southern Tier.

The $1.2 billion resort is holding job fairs next week in Sullivan and Orange counties. Jobs that need to be filled include housekeepers, cooks, security guards and servers.
