SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) — Syracuse police say a 32-year-old man arranged sales online in order to rob the sellers when they met with him.

Police say Tito Bynum was arrested Tuesday and charged with five counts of first-degree robbery and five counts of third-degree criminal possession of a weapon. Syracuse.com reports victims told police they were trying to sell their goods through online apps, and Bynum presented himself as an interested buyer.

Officials say Bynum would then rob the sellers when they met with him. None of the victims suffered serious injuries.

Police say Bynum also had an active warrant on separate larceny and weapons charges at the time of his arrest.

A message left with his attorney wasn't returned.
