Port Leyden Man Charged With Having Sexual Contact With A Teen
A Port Leyden man has been arrested for allegedly having sexual contact with a teen.
State Police say 57-year old Michael Daskiewich provided alcohol to two minors and then engaged in sexual contact with a child under 17 years old.
Police say Daskiewich was taken into custody after agreeing to meet up with a minor to possibly engage in further sexual contact following the initial incident.
The incident is alleged to have happened between October 20th and October 21 in the Town of Leyden.
Daskiewich is charged with one count of criminal sexual act and two counts of unlawfully dealing with a child.
The victim has been offered counseling through the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center.
