Powdery Substance At MetLife A Hoax

Oriskany, NY (WIBX ) - Whitestown Police say the FBI has confirmed that a suspicious package found at the Met Life building in Oriskany containing an unknown substance was a hoax.

The building was evacuated yesterday after an envelope containing a powder was found by an employee.

The incident is being investigated by the FBI, US Postal Inspector and the Whitestown Police Department.
