Prohibition Party Raises Thousands For Medical Equipment
Utica, NY (WIBX) - An unconventional festivity at F.X. Matt Brewery raised thousands of dollars that will go towards helping patients in need of medical testing. The 3rd Annual Prohibition Party, sponsored by Dr. Greg Orlando of Mohawk Valley Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, is to benefit Saint Elizabeth Medical Center Foundation.
Organizers say they money raised will go toward the purchase of digital mammagraphy equipments. The event, that boost nearly 500 guests, included entertainment, food and drinks and a silent auction. In a released statement, President and CEO of St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Richard Ketcham said, “On behalf of the Medical Center, I would like to thank the Matt family for partnering with the Foundation to host this one-of-a-kind event that the community looks forward to each year.”
