Protections For Rome DFAS Workers Included In National Defense Bill

More Congressional oversight over DFAS personnel in Rome will be included in the National Defense Authorization Act after a push by Congressman Richard Hanna and Senators Kirsten Gillibrand and Charles Schumer.

The new measure will protect jobs at DFAS by requiring an independent review of any program that would threaten to harm DFAS employees.

Senator Gillibrand said this is an important step in ensuring more protections for the hundreds of Rome DFAS workers.
