Remembering Office Joseph Corr
Today is a somber day for Central New York law enforcement agencies.
It was 11-years-ago today that New Hartford Police Officer Joseph Corr was shot and killed in the line of duty while responding to a jewelry store robbery.
Senator Joseph Griffo, who was in Rome to announce funding for the Rome Police Department. began his remarks with a moment of silence in memory of Officer Corr.
A memorial mass for Officer Corr was held today at St. John the Evangelist Church in New Hartford.
