In a ceremony before the Yankees / Twins game on Tuesday night, Yankees closer Mariano Rivera was presented with a special gift by the Twins.

A rocking chair, constructed using broken bats and featuring the inscription, "Chair of Broken Dreams," was given to baseball's all-time saves leader.

The New York Yankees' number 42 is forty-three years old.  The chair was presented to him on the field by Minnesota Twins manager Ron Gardenhire (#35), Justin Morneau (#33), and Glen Perkins (#15) at Target Field in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
