Reward Offered In Rome Arson Case

Rome Police are asking for the public's help in solving an arson.

Captain Tim Bates says the fire happened last August at the Liberty Gardens Apartments.

Bates says while the fire was contained to the bedroom of an apartment, there was the potential for widespread damage, injury or death

He says Mohawk Valley Crime Stoppers and the Oneida County Arson Task Force are offering a reward of up to $1,500 for information leading to an arrest.
