Roast Of Attorney Louis Brindisi Raises $16,000 For Stanley

The Roast of local attorney Louis T. Brindisi raised $16,000 for Utica's Stanley Theatre.

Brindisi's Law Firm, Brindisi, Murad, Brindisi & Pearlman, presented a check to Stanley executive director Jerry Kraus on Wednesday.

Brindisi said of the July 7th Roast, ''It was very enlightening, especially when my son started to emcee and really attack me. But, I got back at all of them because I had the last word, it was very nice,'' he said. Adding that the cause made it worth it, ''This is just a beautiful building here, and anything we can do to help and contribute to its success we're more than happy to do it.''
