Rome Clean And Green Wins Taking Root Grant

Rome's Clean and Green program is the winner of the Taking Root Grant from national gardening equipment manufacturer Troy-Bilt.

Representatives from Troy-Bilt were in Rome today to award a $10,000 check to Rome Clean and Green and deliver a truckload of $2,000 worth of Troy-Bilt tools.

Rome was selected as a winner from across the country, beating out Palm Beach County, Florida to win the grand prize.
