Rome Man Arrested on Rape Charge
A 24-year-old Rome man is in Oneida County Jail after being arrested for Rape.
According to Rome Police, the arrest was made on Wednesday, March 14th, 2018.
Michael Egelston of Rome allegedly had unwanted sexual intercourse with a female victim in the early morning hours of March 10th.
The investigation was led by Patrol Officer Clark and he was assisted by the Detective Division.
Egelston was arraigned in Rome City Court and is being held at Oneida County Jail in lieu of $30,000 bail.
