Rome Man Charged With Rape

A Rome man is charged with rape after State Police say he had sex with a minor.

Last October, Adrian Coonrod, Jr., 38, of River Road, was alleged to have had sex with a girl under the age of 17 while in the City of Rome.

Coonrod, Jr. was sent to the Oneida County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail.

State Police worked with the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center on the case.
