Rome Police and Mohawk Valley Crime Stoppers are unveiling a new tool to help fight crime.

Two new digital kiosks will assist local law enforcement and the community in capturing wanted persons and solving crimes.

The kiosks can be placed at strategic locations and members of the public can view all wanted persons, unsolved cases or any other information that police upload to the kiosk.

The units are portable and can be easily moved as needed and police can upload photos or any other information remotely.

The kiosks cost $4,000 each and were paid for by Crime Stoppers through fundraising and donations.
