The Oneida County Sheriff's Office has arrested a Rome woman for an alleged wallet theft.

According to Sheriff Rob Maciol, an investigation revealed that 38-year-old Andrea Brown took a wallet from an unoccupied vehicle.

The wallet contained cash, social security cards, birth certificates, a debit card and an EBT benefits card.

Brown was issued an appearance ticket and will return to Rome City Court at a later date to answer the charge of Felony Grand Larceny in the 4th Degree.
