[UPDATE] Route 5s In Mohawk Is Now Open

UPDATE: 3/28/14 5:15 p.m. Route 5s Between East Main Street and Putts Hill Road is now open and passable.

Original Story: Mohawk Police are reporting a road closure on State route 5s due to flooding.

Route 5s in Mohawk is temporarily closed between East Main Street and Putts Hill Road.

If you travel Route 5s Between Mohawk and Little Falls, plan to use a detour through the Village of Herkimer.

Police say there is no estimated time of when the road will re-open.
