Running From UPD Proves To Be Unsuccessful For Suspect

Utica, NY (WIBX) - Utica police arrested a man following a vehicle and foot pursuit in east Utica. The suspect, 34-year-old Jeremy Hall is accused of attempting to allude capture, after officials tried pulling him over for allegedly running a red light near South Street and Kossuth Avenue.

Police say Hall sped up, stopped his vehicle in the Hammond Avenue area, and ran from police on foot. He was quickly apprehended and remanded to jail.

Hall is facing the following charges:

• Unlawful fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle in the third,
• Speeding,
• Three counts of improper signaling,
• Two counts of passing a red traffic signal
• Driving with a suspended drivers license
