C.C. Sabathia went the distance and struck out nine in the Yankees 6-4 win over the Indians to close out a three-game sweep at Yankee Stadium on Wednesday afternoon.

C.C. allowed seven hits and four earned and yielded just on walk to up his mark to 6-4 on the year. All four of Cleveland's runs came in the sixth and seventh innings after New York jumped out to an early 6-0 advantage.

Travis Hafner smacked a two run homer in the first inning, his tenth HR, and Brett Gardner capped a four-run second with a three-run blast.

Cleveland's Corey Cluber charged with all six runs and fell to 3-4.

The Yankees (34-25) will open a series in Seattle on Thursday night (10:10 est).

The Indians (30-29) play in Detroit on Friday.
