Her role as Mary Beth called for acting, dancing, tap dancing, singing and more as Sauquoit's 12-year-old Allie Kiesel nailed her part during Fox's 3-hour live special of A Christmas Story Live on Sunday.

For the last several weeks, Kiesel and her mom have been living, schooling and rehearsing in Los Angeles for Sunday night's live performance.  It's the biggest role of her young career and a long way from the Quilted Northern toilet paper commercial she did when she was seven. Last year, Kiesel was added to the cast of the Broadway version of the musical that played at Utica's Stanley Theatre.

Meet the kids and the cast of A Christmas Story Live.

Back in November, Allie's mother Chris Kiesel was finally able to make the announcement, "We are finally told that Allie can reveal that she has been cast in A Christmas Story Live on Fox!"

"She's so incredibly talented and so down to earth and such a sweet girl and comes from such a great family," said Derek Clark of Broadway Utica.  "We're so excited for her."

The live adaptation of the Christmas classic featured Mathew Broderick and Maya Rudolph.  11-year-old Andy Walken of Seattle played the role of Ralphie.
