Utica, NY (WIBX) - Voters across the state head to the polls tomorrow to vote on school budgets.

Tim Kremer, the Executive Director of the State School Boards Association, says despite a $1.2 billion dollar cut in state aid, schools districts across the state have held the average statewide property tax increase to 3.4% this year.

That compares favorably to last year's average levy of 3.2%, when 92% of school district budgets were passed.

Kremer is predicting a better than 90% passage rate again this year.
