Sheriff’s Office Updates Fatal Fire Investigation

The investigation into a fatal house fire that happened on Deeley Road in the Town of Vienna continues.

Oneida County Sheriff Rob Maciol says they’re still awaiting autopsy results from the Onondaga County Medical Examiner’s Office.

He says once positive identification is made, the Sheriff’s Office will release the name of the victim.

Maciol also says the fire does not appear to be suspicious in nature.
