New York 22nd District Congressman Anthony Brindisi will vote to impeach President Donald Trump later today, a decision that was highly anticipated not just locally, but was also part of the national political discussion.

The first term Democrat is thought of as a moderate, representing a district that voted heavily in favor of Trump in 2016. Brindisi's name was dropped several times by TV news networks and syndicated radio hosts as one of a handle of House Democrats who might cross party lines and side with Republicans.

After getting word Tuesday morning that Brindisi would vote for in support of the Articles of Impeachment against President Trump, Keeler in the Morning heard from Brindisi's Mohawk Valley consitutents. Reaction was wide ranging, including Republicans who said they supported Brindisi over Tenney in 2018 - but would never back him again, Democrats who say they support his vote and Trump's removal, and a Democrat who says she's with Trump.
