State Police Arrest Three People In Oneida County Underage Drinking Initiative

Remsen, NY (WIBX) - State Police arrested three people for allegedly serving alcohol to a minor during the agency's Underage Drinking Initiative in Oneida County.

Robin Marolf, 47, from the Floyd Quick N Easy in Stittville; Cynthis Lapoint, 40, from the Hideaway Pub in Rome; and Renee Alante, 40, from the Hotel Moore in Barneveld were caught selling or serving alcohol to an underage volunteer.

Each is charged with Unlawfully Dealing with a Child and Prohibited Sale of an Alcoholic Beverage, both misdemeanors.

Also arrested at the Hotel Moore were Justin Weakley, 20, from Cold Brook, and Bradford Devine, 20, from Holland Patent, for Unlawful Possession of an Alcoholic Beverage.

State Police say further arrests are pending.

Seven other Oneida County convenience stores, bars and liquor stores were checked, with each refusing to sell alcohol to a minor.
