Students Participate In International Peace Day

Students at Notre Dame Elementary School in Utica are celebrating International Peace Day.

During a morning assembly, students sang peaceful songs and read a peaceful book.

The students then  placed pinwheels for peace on the school grounds.

International Peace Day was established by the United Nations in 1981 and is observed around the world on September 21st.
