Herkimer, NY (WIBX) - Candidate for State Supreme Court Justice, Prescott Klosner, announced today that he's received the endorsement of the Herkimer Police Department's union, the Charles W. Soule P.B.A.

“I am very grateful to the local P.B.A. for its endorsement,” Klosner said. “I have always supported the efforts of law enforcement and greatly appreciate the important role they play in the legal and judicial system.”

Klosner said the association’s show of support further strengthens an already strong relationship they share, and demonstrates a desire and commitment to continue working in partnership to serve the people of New York.

Klosner is 1 of 9 candidates in a 6 county district vying for four open seats. The top 4 vote-getters will be elected for 14-year terms.

Klosner received endorsements from Republican and Independent party delegates at a recent judicial convention, and was endorsed by the Herkimer County Republican Party in late August. He has practiced law for 13 years, including 11 years as Chief Assistant District Attorney for Herkimer County.
