The Syracuse Orange men's basketball team saw their season come to an end Saturday at the Carrier Dome in an 85-80 loss to Ole Miss in the second round of the NIT.

It wraps up what was a disappointing season for the Orange who finished 19-15, and were unable to make much of their top seeding in the NIT, other than their opening round win over UNC Greensboro.

The Rebels were led by 30 points from Terence Davis, who hit 6-of-7 from three points range. Collectively, Ole Miss was 15-32 from beyond the arc and drilled several in the final minutes.

In fact, you could argue this game was one of Syarcuse's most entertaining this season, as both teams traded the lead and big baskets down the stretch.

Taurean Thompson and Andrew White each scored 18, Tyus Battle had 17 and Tyler Lydon chipped in 15 points and 14 rebounds. As a team, Syracuse shot 44.6% from the field. While they did make eight 3-pointers, the Orange attempted 30.
