The City of Utica has released a list of answers to many questions residents of the city have posed in regards to the placement of Chief Russ Brooks on medical leave. The paid medical leave stemmed from the chief filing what is called a 207-a application.

Long-time Utica Fire Chief Russ Brooks will be honored this evening at a public rally. Organizers say the purpose of this rally is to show support for the displaced Brooks and thank him for his 42 years of service to the department and his participating in the recovery efforts on 9/11.
