Teen Arrested For Allegedly Stealing Cough Syrup

Utica, NY (WIBX) - Utica police are reporting the arrest of a suspect accused of attempting to steal several bottles of cough syrup from Price Chopper. The suspect, 18-year-old Michael Foley of Whitesboro, is charged with Petit Larceny after he allegedly tried to walk out of Price Chopper on Auert Avenue after stuffing 5 bottles of Robitussin in his pants.

Foley was stopped and detained by loss prevention officers before he could make off with the items. He was issued an appearance ticket to answer the charge at a later date in Utica City Court.
