Tenney: Bureaucracy Delaying District Office Opening

Congresswoman Claudia Tenney is responding to questions about her district office locations.

She says the bureaucracy of the federal government is delaying the opening of her districts offices and phone installation.

Tenney says members of Congress are unable to use any official resources until they're sworn-in, so she and her staff were unable to begin the process of opening offices until January 3rd.

She says constituents can call her office in Washington, DC at (202) 225-3665 with any concerns or questions.

Tenney says she will have district offices in New Hartford and Binghamton. The New Hartford office is now open on French Road from 9:00 to 5:00 and the Binghamton office will open soon.

Temporary phone numbers have been set up in New Hartord at (315) 956-1224 and in Binghamton at (607) 376-6002.

The Congresswoman says she looks forward to creating an open dialogue will all constituents in the 22nd District.
