Congresswoman Claudia Tenney hosted a small lender roundtable discussion at SUNY Poly in Marcy on Thursday.

Tenney says two bills she introduced that were included in the Dodd-Frank reform package are a win for small banks and credit unions.

She says the legislation will provide relief from regulations enacted by Dodd-Frank meant for big banks that hurt small lenders.  Tenney says the bill will ensure community banks can continue to lend to the community and local businesses.

Tenney was joined by local bankers and small lenders from the 22nd Congressional District.
