Albany, NY (WIBX) - Assemblywoman Claudia Tenney has introduced legislation to ease the voting process in Oneida County, which does not maintain the same polling hours for different elections held on the same day.

If enacted, the legislation would allow polling hours from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. for primary elections which are held on the same day as special elections.

Under current state law, primary elections are held from noon to 9:00, except in New York City and several other downstate counties.
