Three people from Utica and Waterville are facing a multitude of grand larceny and conspiracy charges following an attempted larceny in the Town of Norwich.

Officials with the Chenango County Sheriff's Office say two people attempted to walk out of a business without paying for two large flat screen TVs.

But, when loss protection officers confronted the two, they allegedly pushed the TVs out of their vehicle and sped off. An investigation into the incident revealed the two suspects had committed two other larcenies on February 27th and March 2nd.

On March 6th, Oneida County Deputies with help from the U.S. Marshals Task Force arrested James Bailey, 26, and Jody Spencer, 48, both of Utica and Judy Bailey, 53, of Waterville.

Judy Bailey is charged with one count each of felony Grand Larceny and misdemeanor Conspiracy. Spencer faces two counts each of the same crimes, and James Bailey is charged with three counts each.

All three were sent to jail on bail.
