Today Is Primary Day

Primary elections are taking place across the state today.

There are several big local races.

In Utica, Mayor Rob Palmieri faces Councilman Joe Marino in a Democratic Primary, while Oneida County Executive Anthony Picente and David Gordon face off in a Republican primary.

Rome Mayor Jackie Izzo is facing a challenge from David Mattoon in a GOP primary.

Polls will be open from noon until 9 p.m.
