Trebilcock Indicted On Murder Charge

Sherill, NY (WIBX) -  David Trebilcock was indicted on second-degree murder and weapons possession charges Wednesday. He's the man accused of stabbing to death 6-year-old Lauren Belius in the Sherrill home he shared with the child's mother.

The stabbing happened back in July.

The girl's mother tried to stop the attck but was unable to, according to police.

Trebilcock has been declared mentally competent to stand trial.
