Wednesday on Keeler- Miss America, Nina Davuluri

Tune in Wednesday morning (10/2/13) at 7:35 as Miss America joins First News with Keeler in the Morning on WIBX.  Nina Davuluri is originally from Syracuse and plans to attend medical school at SUNY Upstate Medical in Syracuse.  She'll talk about her experience as the newly crowned Miss America and the racism she faced, as the first pageant winner of Indian decent.  Davuluri was born in America; but, many called her a foreigner and compared her to the terrorists responsible for the September 11th attack on the World Trade Center.
