The Minnesota Twins turned the seldom-seen around-the-horn-triple-play on the New York Yankees Monday night as the two teams were just beginning the opener of their three-game series.

The visiting Yankees led off the opening inning with back-to-back walks. With DJ LeMahieu on second and Aaron Judge on first, Edwin Encarnacion followed with a hard hit ground ball to third base. The Twins infield ate it up and turned 3:

Minnesota went on to the take the opener by a final of 8-6. The two first-place teams will meet twice more this week, on Tuesday and Wednesday nights.
