Utica, NY (WIBX) - Two people were arrested yesterday after law enforcement officials carried out a search warrant at a home on 911 Blandina Street in Utica.

Utica police say they uncovered Cocaine, Marijuana, packaging and currency. The suspects, 38-year-old Kareem A. Abrams and 32-year-old Schenekqua Carter, both of Utica, are charged with the following:

  • Abrams: CPCS 3rd, 7th , CUDP 2nd, and endangering the welfare of a child.
  • Carter: CPCS 7th, UPM and endangering the welfare of a child.
Officials say the search warrant was executed by UPD's Drug METRO Unit with assistance from U.S. Marshal Service, Whitestown Police Department and the New Hartford Police Department. They say it follows an investigation into illegal activities at the home. Abrams and Carter will face the charges at a later date in Utica City Court.
