Utica, NY (WIBX) - Utica police are reporting the arrest of two suspects accused of shoplifting at Rite Aid. The teens were allegedly observed by loss prevention stealing numerous items, and running out of the store with them.

Officials say they later spotted the two female suspects near the area where they reportedly fled to--the intersection of Oneida Street and Clinton Place in Utica. Akeema Stevens and Khadejah Williams--both 17-years-old, are charged with Petit Larceny. They were issued appearance tickets returnable to the Utica City Court. The teens are accused of stealing a quantity of junk food items including facial lotion.
