Man Charged With Stealing Mother’s Car

Floyd, NY (WIBX) - A man was arrested by Oneida County Sheriff's Deputies after allegedly breaking into his parents home on New Floyd Road in the Town of Floyd and stealing his mother's car.

Deputies say 21-year old Michael Rixford broke into the home while his parents were out of the area visiting family members.

Rixford was located driving the stolen car and taken into custody without incident.

He was charged with burglary and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
