Frankfort, NY (WIBX) - State Police have arrested two men for allegedly stealing scrap metal in the Town of Frankfort.

Police say 19-year old Pavel Naumovich of Schuyler and 19-year old Codey Kistner of Utica were found loading railroad spikes and other pieces of metal from the CSX Railroad tracks into their vehicle, which they had parked adjacent to the tracks on CSX property.

Both men were charged with petit larceny and criminal trespass.

Naumovich was also charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
