Two Rome Residents Arrested Following Drug Raid

Rome Police have arrested two adults following a drug raid on Friday afternoon.

The no-knock search warrant executed at a Washington Street apartment revealed a quantity of cocaine, marijuana, drug packaging materials and an illegally possessed handgun.

Authorities arrested 29-year-old Derek Clute and 21-year-old Brianna Ellinger for alleged Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance. Clute is also facing a charge of Criminal Possession of a Weapon.
