Unoccupied Car In Verona Leads To Two Arrests

Verona, NY (WIBX) - A one-car accident in Verona ended with the arrest of two people.

According to the Oneida County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to an unoccupied vehicle owned by Peter Boehm, 22, of Syracuse, that was left in a ditch off of West Main Street.

Deputies then noticed Deqwana Delee, 22, also of Syracuse, walking toward the car. She was stopped and found to have marijuana.

Boehm, who had been driving the vehicle, was found soon after and found to have a controlled substance.

Both were arrested and will appear in the Town of Verona Court.
