The new Boilermaker headquarters on Court Street will be getting an energy efficient upgrade, thanks to a $50,000 state grant announced by Senator Joseph Griffo.

Boilermaker President Tim Reed says the money will be used to defray the costs of replacing 46 windows.

Reed says the renovations are necessary if in the future, they expand and make use of the third floor of the building.

The building dates back to the 1880s and many of the windows are at least 50 years old.

The Boilermaker purchased the R.J. Nudo Building in April.
