Several inches of snow will possibly be mixing with the most recent batch sub-zero weather on tap this weekend.

The Mohawk Valley is under a Wind Chill Warning through early Sunday morning, but now the National Weather Service has added a Winter Weather Advisory for Southern Oneida County through 6:00 Saturday night.

Below zero air temperatures will be made worse by high winds, making the conditions feel like -10 to -30 on both Friday and Saturday nights in Oneida and Herkimer counties, the NWS says.

Southern Oneida County could see 3 to 5 inches of lake effect snow through Saturday evening. Forecasters also warn of blowing snow and poor visibility for motorists.

The forecast in Southern Herkimer County also calls for some snow, but in the form of isolated snow showers not accumulating lake effect precipitation,
