Utica Bread is expanding production to meet the growing demand from its wholesale customers.

That means a reformatting of the retail space at the store.

Effective August 30th, Utica Bread will no longer offer sandwiches, soups and salads, for the time being. Pastries, quiche and croissants will still be available for retail customers to go.

Utica Bread will continue to operate as a retail and wholesale bakery, seven days a week, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

They hope to move the made-to-order portion of the business to another location in Bagg's Square.

The bakery opened in July of last year.
