The Mohawk Valley Chapter of the Red Cross came to the aid of 5 people following a house fire in Utica.

Utica Fire responded to a residence on Morris Street Wednesday for reports of a structure fire.

As a result two adults and three children were displaced from their home and were provided assistance for necessities such as food and clothing.

No injuries have been reported and the cause of the fire is still under investigation. The local Red Cross chapter will continue to be available in the coming days.
