Utica Man Arrested On Outstanding Warrants

Utica, NY (WIBX) - A Utica man has been arrested on outstanding warrants from Utica and Worcester, Massachusetts.Utica Police stopped 32-year old Joseph Watkins last night for walking in the road on Arthur Street.

While writing Watkins a summons for Pedestrian Failing to Use The Sidewalk, officers ran a warrants check and discovered that Watkins had an open arrest warrant for disorderly conduct in Utica.

He was also wanted as a fugitive out of Massachusetts for violation of probation and two previous drug related charges.

Watkin's extradition to Massachusetts is pending.
